1. Who processes your data?

Plus1Mee manages the data needed to provide the service, including account, contact and payment information. Contact us at info@plus1mee.nl or through the contact form.

The organiser decides which guests are registered for an event and which team members have access. The organiser is your first point of contact about the content and use of that guest list. Plus1Mee processes guest data to provide the service to the organiser.

2. What data do we use?

For accounts: name, username, email address, optional phone number, password hash, account status, team permissions and login information such as the last login time. For billing: billing name, company name, address, billing email, optional VAT number, credit transactions and payment references.

For events: contact details, name, optional organisation or notes supplied by the organiser or guest, guest list, registration status, plus-ones and check-in records. For contact and deletion requests, we process the submitted details and message. Technical data and activity records support operation, access control and abuse prevention.

3. Why do we use this data?

We use account and event data to provide the agreed service: signing in, collaboration, managing invitations, registering guests and check-in. Contact information is used to answer questions and requests. Payment details support credit purchases and administration.

The legal bases are performance of the contract, applicable legal obligations and our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure service. For security and abuse prevention, we balance that interest against your privacy. Where consent is required, we request it beforehand and you can withdraw it. The organiser determines the legal basis for their guest registration.

4. Access and service providers

Authorised event team members receive access according to their assigned permissions. Technical providers may process data for hosting, email delivery and maintenance. Stripe handles payments and payment methods. Full card details are entered through Stripe; the app stores payment references and purchase data.

Service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Locations and applicable safeguards depend on the service used. Contact info@plus1mee.nl for information about the providers involved and international transfers.

5. Retention and deletion

Account data remains necessary while you use the account. Following a deletion request, we assess what can be deleted and what is still needed for outstanding obligations, security or statutory administration. Purchase records may therefore be retained longer than your account. Contact and request data is retained as needed for handling and follow-up.

When an event is finished, the app schedules guest data anonymisation after 30 days. Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics may be retained. You can also submit an earlier deletion request. Requests concerning active events are reviewed manually.

6. Cookies, local storage and Google

The app uses browser storage for your login session, language and theme preferences, and features such as offline check-in. Remember to log out on shared devices. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account ID, name and verified email address to create or link your account. Google processes sign-in under its own privacy policy. We do not store Google access tokens. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure visits to public pages. We send page paths and generic page titles, without query parameters or URL fragments. Account, sign-in, guest and deletion pages are excluded. We do not use this integration for advertising personalisation. Google may process browser and device information and set analytics cookies. Your choice is stored locally for up to 180 days. You can withdraw consent through Cookie preferences in the footer.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and, where applicable, portability of your data. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. We generally respond within one month; if an extension is needed, we will notify you within that month.
